Foster Downes Projects offer a New Build Home Inspection Service and can act on your behalf to assist in rectifying any outstanding defects and/or snags. Our fully qualified and experienced inspectors are available now to inspect your new home to ensure that the builder has achieved the highest quality and standards expected under your home's warranty (typically an NHBC or Zurich warranty).

Once appointed, we will carry out a survey of your home and issue a concise inspection report to the builder on your behalf. We can also follow up the initial survey and report with a subsequent site visit once the builder has carried out any remedial works required.

• New homes are generally offered with a 2 year insurance backed warranty where the builder is contractually obliged to resolve all issues of defective workmanship and / or materials.
• It is not the duty of the conveyancer to resolve the snagging issues with the builder but that of the purchaser direct.
